These truffles are so decadent that its almost impossible to think they are only made with a few ingredients and they all come from fruits and seeds. So chocolatey and rich you can enjoy this guilt-free dessert anytime.

Almonds the main ingredients for our truffles are a great source of protein and essential good fats. These nuts are especially beneficial to your heart, your brain health, to lower cholesterol and even to fight cancers.

The perfect snack to fuel you with the right energy and a great dessert to enjoy after dinner.

Makes 12 medium truffles

1 cup of raw almonds (about 1 ¼ cup of almond flour)
5 small dehydrated dates or 3 medjool dates
1 tbsp of coconut oil
2 tsp of cacao powder
¼ tsp vanilla extract
pinch of salt

If using the dehydrated dates place them in a bowl with water to soften for 10 minutes.

You will want to process all your dry ingredients together and then add the rest.
First place the almonds in your food processor and blend until you get a flour consistency- almond flour. Add the salt, the cacao and process again. Now add the dates, the coconut oil, and the vanilla.
Process thoroughly until you get a doughy consistency. Now form the truffle balls and additionally you can cover them with more cacao or shredded coconut.

Place them in the fridge to chill for 15 minutes and they are ready.
